Sifu Gordon Cauchi began to learn about Kung Fu at the early age of eleven, but began his official instruction in the Mon Lung style of Kung Fu when he was nineteen years old.
He became a dedicated student of Sifu Charles Gaffiero, amongst other tutors, and systematically obtained all sashes/belts until he was recently awarded the highest qualification of the first Dan, which is the Black sash/belt.
During the long years of his instruction, he was taught by Sifu Charles Gaffiero, Sifu Alan Best and Sifu Noel Gatt.
Now himself being qualified to teach, Sifu Cauchi is now teaching his own classes of Mon Lung Kung Fu.
Sifu Cauchi may also be found assisting Sifu Chalres Gaffiero in Kung Fu lessons at the Gaffiero Kwoon in Sliema.
