Students just beginning Kung Fu classes will not need a great deal of equipment or clothing to train in. Any loose and comfortable clothes such as t-shirts, shorts or light fabric trousers will suffice.
Once prospective students show enough talent and/or interest to continue
their instruction, they would need
to purchase a Kung Fu uniform, which
consists of the Mon Lung T shirt and trousers.
The uniform should also be worn with white socks and Kung Fu slippers, but students
may also train in their bare
feet or in just socks.
Gradings
(exams) are held every six months under the
strict supervision of the Grandmaster. Once a
student achieves the desired standard of training at the level
s/he has been taught, s/he is awarded the
relevant sash/belt which must be worn at all times during the lessons.
